We are the Black culture/history resource for our members and our community.

We support our members' and their families' involvement in San Ramon Valley School District.

Mission and Programs

To provide our members, families, and community with opportunities to learn more about the influence of Blacks in the development of America.

To foster awareness on ways to positively influence educational decisions in the San Ramon Valley community and school system.

We will achieve our mission by:

• Providing members with Black History Education
• Discussion groups at our meetings
• Review films on black history
• Review books relevant to our members
• Providing support to our Children
• Support Black Student Organizations at area high schools
• Develop after school programs
• Provide scholarships for black student leaders
• Work with the school systems to develop and implement programs on Black History.
• Black history tours

  • Museums with emphasis on Black History
• Providing support to our Families and the Community
• Develop black history month program
• Conduct orientation seminar on the San Ramon Valley Area structure and operations
• Support other Black organizations
• Develop educational programs for community
• Support the San Ramon Jazz Concert
